At Didik Plus, we are committed to protecting the privacy of children and providing a safe, educational environment. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard personal information when you and your child use our mobile application.
- Our Commitment to Children’s Privacy
We comply with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) 2010 of Malaysia, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We do not collect personal information from children under the age of 18 (as per PDPA standards) or the relevant age in your jurisdiction without verifiable parental consent.

- Information We Collect
To provide the best experience, we collect information in two ways:
- From Parents/Guardians: During account setup, we collect the parent’s name, email address, and payment information (if applicable).
- From Children (with Consent): We may collect a child’s first name (or a nickname), age/grade level, and progress within the app’s educational activities.
- Automatically: We collect non-identifying technical data such as device type, operating system, and app usage statistics to improve performance. We do not collect precise geolocation or allow behavioral advertising.
- How We Use the Information
We use the collected data solely for:
- Providing and personalizing the educational content.
- Tracking and reporting the child’s learning progress to the parent.
- Communicating with parents regarding account updates or safety notices.
- Internal analytics to improve app functionality.
- Subscription Plans and Payment Information
We offer both free and paid (“Premium”) subscription plans. To process subscriptions, we collect and use data as follows:
- Billing Data: For Premium subscriptions, we collect the parent/guardian’s billing details, including credit card information or third-party payment IDs (e.g., Google Play Store or Apple App Store).
- Payment Processing: All payments are processed through secure, PCI-compliant third-party payment gateways. Didik Plus does not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
- Plan Management: We collect data regarding your chosen plan, renewal dates, and transaction history to ensure uninterrupted access to premium educational features and to provide customer support.
- Usage Limits: For users on the Free plan, we may track basic usage metrics to manage feature access limits as defined in our Terms of Service.
- Parental Consent and Control
We require a “Parental Gate” or email verification before any data collection begins. As a parent/guardian, you have the following rights:
- Review: You can request to see the personal information we have collected from your child.
- Deletion: You can ask us to delete your child’s information at any time.
- Refusal: You can revoke your consent and prevent further collection or use of your child’s data (though this may limit the app’s functionality).

- Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell children’s personal information to third parties. We only share data with trusted service providers (such as cloud hosting) who are legally bound to keep the data secure and use it only for the purposes we specify.
